Description
Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, following all safety protocols and procedures.Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management. Build trade jobs from printed material sheets.Organize warehouse space and maintain inventory levels by accurately counting and recording incoming and outgoing materials.Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and labeling orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris as needed.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to supervisors or management immediately.Assist with conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals while prioritizing safety at all times.Requirements
Must have proven track record warehouse experience. Minimum of 1 year.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Decision making skills and emotional intelligence.Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.Ability to make sound judgments.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
