The International Freight Analyst will be responsible for analyzing international freight data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, creating shipping schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery of international shipments.
How you will make contributions that matter...
Utilize data analysis techniques to uncover insights and trends in international freight data.
Verify all confirmed bookings for accuracy, including lead time targets, report and manage exceptions.
Monitor the full shipment lifecycle and address any delays or disruptions promptly.
Coordinate any in market rejections or returns e.g. re-import previously exported containers
Communicate with brokers, forwarders, external vendors and customers; establish freight lanes, policies, and procedures.
Provide support to Sales, Customer Service, operations, and warehousing as it relates to international freight.
Collaborate with internal teams to create freight metrics, forecast shipping needs and plan logistics accordingly.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Liaise with procurement on shipping line priorities, issues, updates, industry intelligence - and apply knowledge to our day to day requirements.
Develop stratgies to optimize freight costs and improve efficiency in the supply chain.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to international freight.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, management, logistics or related field
3+ years of pervious experience in international freight analysis, logistics, or related field
Proficiency in data analysis tools and strong analytical mindset
Demonstrated experience problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel 30%.

Salary Range: $70,050-$91,950
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, educations, skills and training
