With over a century in the Public infrastructure, Consulting and Engineering Industry, our client is an award-winning multi-disciplined consulting firm with a footprint across 60+ different office locations and growing!They have a current opportunity for a Tennessee Water Business Team Lead on a permanent basis in their Nashville office location. The position can be Hybrid/Remote.Responsibilities will include managing a variety of projects within:Water and Wastewater treatment plantsWater distribution systems, including pumping and storageWastewater collection systems, including pumping and storageRegional water supply planningThe ideal candidate will be driven to develop a water business in Tennessee, possessing strong client relationships and aiming to expand this network. Responsibilities will vary in scale and evolve over time, but generally entail:Leading business development efforts, directly engaging with clientsDeveloping a business and financial strategy for the Tennessee Water Services marketCollaborating with the company's proposal team to pursue significant revenue-generating projectsOverseeing the recruitment of Project Managers to support the business plan executionManaging project delivery with a focus on risk management and profitabilityAdditionally, the candidate should have the technical expertise to serve as a project leader and advisor on water and wastewater projects.Requirements:Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for expanding client relationships and building a Water Business Line practice, potentially including opening and managing a new officeBachelor's degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering9+ years of relevant technical experience in the water sector, including at least 3 years in project or team leadership rolesLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in TennesseePrevious experience overseeing designs for water and wastewater projects, including detailed plans and specificationsStrong grasp of interdisciplinary practices essential for implementing water and wastewater infrastructure improvementsExcellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.The Benefits:The best medical compensation and packageCompetitive base salary and total compensationFlexible working schedule on a regular basisWork with the best clientele in Metro Atlanta (projects/clients are not just limited to the Tennessee state!)Rewarding Employee ownership for ALL employees
