We are a leading Wealth Management firm in Boston that strives to help families achieve their financial goals for over 100 years. We are looking for a Tax Advisor who has experience with high net worth individuals to assist with department-wide initiatives related to tax analysis and planning for clients. This position is an integral part of the employee workforce, as they will be responsible for comprehensive tax return preparation for an assignment of individual tax clients.Responsibilities:Work with tax department team to implement and oversee initiatives across the departmentWork with software applications including BNA and Profx, related to tax research, planning, and preparationPartner with teams across the office to ensure that tax planning initiatives are compliantMentor juniors on the teamQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business of Accounting concentration and/or Taxation and/or CFPMinimum 7 years' experience in individual tax return production environmentMinimum 5 years' experience in direct individual client environment involving financial planningHigh level of knowledge about individual and gift tax mattersExperience with fiduciary and estate tax returnsSolid understanding of investment management conceptsBenefits:Competitive compensationHybrid work modelStrong work-life balance mentality
