Key to our success has been a deep sense of purpose, a broad perspective, and a relentless focus on achieving positive results.IFF is looking for candidates with a commitment to the work we do who can demonstrate their creativity, diligence, enthusiasm, growth-mindset, thoughtfulness, and passion to make meaningful change in the areas of economic and racial justice.Basic Job FunctionThe Data Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting synchronization of data both across core business applications and between those applications and data warehouses.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborates with Data Architect and Chief Data Officer to select vendors/products/methods for data integration and synchronization.Build and execute ETL processes from multiple, disparate data sources such as flat files, web services/APIs, databases, etc.Develop and deploy data pipelines using Python, Fivetran, and Microsoft Azure (Synapse, SQL Server, etc…) best practices.Creates, manages, and maintains pipelines necessary to achieve error-free data integration/synchronization.Provides training and support for IFF technical staff regarding data integration and synchronization.Receives and resolves escalated incident reports involving data integration and synchronization.Assists Applications Administrator and Data Architect, as needed.Performs related duties, as required.Performance Measures:Ensures error-free data integration/synchronization across core business applications and between those applications and data warehouses.Cultivates a culture of openness in information sharing.Models personal accountability that promotes ownership and engagement.Builds and maintains effective working relationships with colleagues, peers and team members.Values and supports differences in others, contributing to an inclusive work environment.Position Qualifications:Education

:

Bachelor’s Degree required in computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics. Or equivalent experience in a similar position.Previous Experience : Two years of experience in data engineering, or a closely related field. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Services strongly preferred.Additional Requirements : Occasional evening and weekend work.Application Instructions:
