Manager

is responsible for maintaining and growing a robust company-wide Data Governance framework including processes, people, tools, technology and communications. Serves as a point of escalation for data governance & data quality issues and will work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets. This role will also closely collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment between data governance policies and the overall IT framework.Responsibilities

Strategic Data Governance and Policy DevelopmentMaintain and execute an enterprise data governance roadmap aligned with business objectives.Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures.Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality and protection standards.Define performance indicators and quality metrics, ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards.Leadership and Organizational AlignmentLead and provide support, training, and guidance to direct reports for achieving data governance and quality goals.Make recommendations to senior management and HR regarding hiring, dismissals, salary adjustments, promotions, and performance evaluations.Ensure clear accountability for the stewardship of the company’s principal information assets.Collaboration and AdvocacyServe as a liaison between business, functional areas, and technology.Promote data governance best practices and a culture supportive of individual differences across the organization.Professional Excellence and CommunicationWork and interact effectively and professionally at various levels of the global organization.Strictly adhere to safety requirements, maintain regular attendance, and uphold company standards.Possess effective oral and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and remain calm in fast-paced situations.Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 8+ years experience in Governance or related areaSignificant relevant experience required, including managerial experienceSolid communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as ability to work comfortably amidst ambiguity important for success in this role.Core CompetenciesData Literacy | Data Governance | Data Communication and Visualization | Customer focus | LeadershipOptions
