Position Overview

Eastern Illinois University, School of Business invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position in accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses including auditing and a secondary area such as data analytics and emerging technologies. In addition to teaching in F2F, online, and hybrid formats, the candidate will be expected to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and participate in service activities at the school and university levels. The position begins in fall 2025.Qualifications

Candidates with PhD or DBA from an AACSB-accredited accounting program are preferred, although ABDs close to completion will be considered. Established or potential record for research in peer-reviewed journals and evidence of strong instructional effectiveness are essential, as are strong communications and interpersonal skills. Experience with teaching online, business experience, and professional certification are desirable. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience with promoting inclusive excellence is required.Application Process
