This role requires in-depth knowledge of financial regulations and laws, superior communication skills, and strong academic credentials.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases, particularly involving financial institutions.Handle class action lawsuits and regulatory enforcement actions related to consumer financial services.Provide legal counsel on issues concerning the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Equal Opportunity Credit Act.Advise clients on federal and state laws governing unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed reports and legal documents.Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.Engage in settlement negotiations and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes as necessary.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience in consumer financial services litigation or a related field.Extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, especially defending financial institutions.Proficient knowledge of the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Opportunity Credit Act, and relevant federal and state laws.Superior written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Superior academic credentials are required.Certifications:Active Bar license in CO, CA, or PA preferred.Skills:Advanced litigation and case management skills.Ability to interpret and apply complex legal statutes and regulations.Excellent negotiation and settlement skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
