Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.As a Project Manager - Privacy and Compliance, you will be responsible to lead and drive key Privacy and Compliance projects. You will oversee all aspects of Compliance and Privacy projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of privacy projects. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.What You'll DoSupport Project leaders with development of tools and methodologies to ensure on-going compliance.Work with Divisional and regional privacy teams in the implementation of privacy impact assessments for tools and systemsReport on a periodic basis regarding the status of the privacy program to Sr. LeadershipCoordinate privacy projects to ensure the development of new products and services are consistent with ADC privacy policies and legal obligations.Ensure that all projects completed privacy, compliance deliverables i.e Data privacy impact assessments.Develop detailed and comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress for all privacy compliance activities.Manage the relationship with project leaders and privacy stewards.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all PMO Privacy/Compliance initiatives.Ensures Division-wide thinking and problem-solving are incorporated into project execution.Liaise with other Project Owners, functional managers, and management to prioritize activities across programs to balance resource availability, program deliverables and schedule, and business needs.Accountability / Scope / BudgetThis position is highly visible and accountable, responsible for liaising with management in driving alignment on key decisions and reporting to senior management project status.Accountable for driving scope, budget, and quality tradeoffs, not only for a given project, but across projects in conjunction with other stakeholders to optimize portfolio value creation.Generally, the incumbent will not have direct reports, but will lead a matrix team with a high degree of accountability to ensure that team is appropriately resourced and that team members are defining plans and adhering to commitments.Experience You'll BringRequiredBachelor’s Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 10 years of related work experience.Has successfully led several high complexity projects from beginning to end.Demonstrated technical skills and management judgment appropriate to the project.Demonstrated expertise in PM tools and processes.PreferredRequire strong domain experience in Data Privacy.Ideally the incumbent has good knowledge of regulations and standards related to Data Privacy (eg GDPR, Privacy Acts)Additional cross-functional experiences in the areas of Program Management, R&D, Commercial, Marketing.Require the ability to collect information from multiple sources, synthesize, integrate, and resolve conflicting requirements and cross-functional issuesRequire process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned; have demonstrated ability to define and implement complex and interdependent business processesRequire strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.Apply Now* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
