The
SportTechie Sports Tech Reporter
will write 5 articles per week that cover the latest sports tech news from each weekday. With this Beat you will develop a strong knowledge of the sports industry from a tech, digital, social and business perspective because you will consistently be covering the most recent and important sports tech news.Main Goal:Keep our readers informed about the latest from the intersection of technology and sports and provide them with the insights they crave in order to stay on top of the industry.Daily tasks and requirements will include:Working directly with the SportTechie President to cover the day's top sports tech storyArticles will be concise and informative; 250-400 wordsArticle assignments will be provided each morning or nightThe Sports Tech Reporter needs to be able to produce a new article within 1-4 hours of receiving an assignment in the morning or by the following morningMust be someone who has a flexible schedule and willing to quickly communicate every day via emailMust be knowledgeable with the sports industryThis is an unpaid internship but we will be happy to work with any students who may be looking to gain internship credit.Qualifications
This is a good position for someone looking to gain some reporting experience in the sports or technology world. The position is flexible and we are very good with working with students. School comes first.Previous writing experience is a big advantage over candidates without writing samples to showcaseAbility to quickly produce typo-free content based on a specific assignment is a mustBeing receptive to feedback on your writing is requiredMust have the ability to quickly summarize a sports tech story into a digestible and insightful articleAdditional Information
