This means investing in talent, technologies, and tools that empower you to own your career.Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.Job ResponsibilitiesPlan and carry out audit assignments according to the risk-based audit plan and/or other ad-hoc assignments with appropriate updates to Audit Planning Document, Audit working paper etc that in accordance with the needs of the Board Audit Committee, MUFG Head Office or regulatory authorities.Ensure effective closure of audit assignments, i.e. exit meetings and/or issuance of audit reports (or equivalent) to communicate results of assessment and review for Management’s action.Assist CIA in preparing audit reports and other reporting requirements as required by MUFG Head Office, Regional Office (AIAO), Bank Negara Malaysia, Management, Board Audit Committee, and other authorities.Responsible to carry out Quality Assurance review in determining whether activities performed are within internal audit functions conform to standards set by relevant guidelines, Regulators, and other mandatory mandates.Work together with local, AIAO, and global stakeholder in audit assignment and IT related matters.Follow up and ensure proper closure on audit recommendations of IA, Regulatory and other outsource audits respectively.Identify potential risk, including awareness of risks both within span of control as well as enterprise-wide.Assign and review the work of audit team members for assigned engagements in coordination with CIA.Assess the state of the governance, risk management, and control environment aspects relevant to that risk.Report results in an effective and timely basis, leading to appropriate remedial action and ongoing management of risk.Maintain compliance with audit methodology, while also operating within industry best practices, applicable regulations, and internal and external professional practice expectations.Effectively manage stakeholder relationships to a mutually accountable, productive, respectful, and trusted level.Act as a leader & role model and continuously improve self and IA.Job Requirements:Applicant must have a recognized degree, qualification or certification in IT & Computing, Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information System Engineering or etc.Ten or more years of internal and/or external IT audits, risk management experience, including management responsibility and good presentation skill, banking experience with relevant exposure to cybersecurity risk management including phishing detection, sensitive data leakage monitoring and automated thread mitigation.Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.Meticulous, detail oriented with critical thinking skills.Experience with the financial industry and related markets, related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends.IT & Operational knowledge of banking industry and applicable laws and regulations, including relevant frameworks and supporting system knowledge.Deep knowledge of IT risk assessment, audit methodology, and audit execution.Demonstrated proficiency in technology as required for assigned areas.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Other skills as required in assigned areas of responsibility.Exhibits strong ethical behaviour, and adheres to other similar professional requirements.Technology and Audit certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CAI, CRISK, CGEIT, strongly preferred.MUFG Bank Ltd & MUFG Securities Asia Limited (collectively referred to as “MUFG”) is an equal opportunity employer.
