Visa Direct

is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology, i.e., Original Credit Transaction (OCT). Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g., payments to landscaper), funds disbursement (e.g., insurance claim disbursements), bill payment, cross-border remittance and more. Currently, the push payments market around the world is estimated to be an 80T opportunity.This role will report into the Sr. Director of Global Digital Partnerships on the Visa Direct Global Revenue & Sales team. This team sits at the cross-section of sales and product with a mandate to accelerate growth for Visa Direct across the world. The

Director of Visa Direct Specialized Sales

will be tasked to sell Visa Direct directly to new and existing local and global enabler accounts, FinTechs and transaction originators. This includes performance tracking and optimization, stakeholder and client management, and strategic initiatives to promote reseller revenue acceleration.This role will be responsible for supporting commercial outcomes for the Visa Direct business in all 5 regions Visa operates in. We will be working in a fast paced, agile environment, so this person must be proactive and excel with internal and external partners to ensure we achieve our goals.Responsibilities include:Direct sales of Visa Direct Money Movement Flows (AFTs and OCTs) with Payment Processors, Primary and Secondary Enablers, FinTechs and Originators.Performance Tracking and Optimization – leverage data and analytics to provide actionable insights and reporting to accelerate the growth of partners and provide leadership visibility into key initiatives and growth levers.Stakeholder Management – build, deepen, and expand relationships with key internal and client stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.Strategic Initiatives – support development and execution of strategic growth initiatives such as joint marketing initiatives, sales pitches, and client trainings in partnership with key cross functional stakeholders.Joint Pipeline Management and Portfolio Growth – manage and joint sales pipeline with key partners and develop strategies to accelerate growth of existing portfolio companies.This is a hybrid position.

Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications:12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.7-10+ years of progressively more responsible experience in direct sales, contract negotiations, strategy, business development, partnerships, business analysis, program management, planning and operations, and/or related functions.Experience at a large, leading Technology, Payments, and/or Financial Services company is not required but highly preferred.Experience in Payments industry across different markets.Experience working with Payment processors/enablers as well as FinTechs.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment.Ability to handle multiple project workstreams, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems.Eagerness to work in cross-functional teams to accomplish project objectives.Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications.Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners.Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, and obtain buy-in.Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, experience in data visualization tools or a desire to learn.Additional Information

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 190,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
