Lead Clinical Specialist
to work in our Preventive Program.
Position Summary:The Preventive Program Lead Clinical Specialist provides direct clinical services to youth and families in the mandated preventive program. Clinical services include but are not limited to individual, group and family therapy including assessment, evaluation and treatment. The Lead Clinical Specialist also supervises the Preventive Program Caseworkers.
Schedule:
35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with rotating on-call responsibilities.

QualificationsMINIMUM Qualifications:MSW or MHC requiredAt least 2 years of supervisory experienceAt least 1 year of experience working with children and familiesValid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the AgencyMust complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.PREFERRED Qualifications:LMSW, LCSW, LMHC preferredExperience working with youth and families touched by the child welfare systemExperience working with temporary assistance, SNAP, Food stamps, etc.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to sit periodically for computer based workAble to safely operate an agency vehicle in accordance with NYS motor vehicle lawAbility to navigate community settings and in home visitsThe Children's Home of Poughkeepsie is an Equal Opportunity Employer.The Children's Home participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
