Organizational and Leadership Role

Leads by example, and coaches others directly.Work closely with SMEs to interpret the results of data.Takes initiative for their own growth through personal leadership.Functional Role

Install, configure, and maintain SQL-based database systems.Ensure database security and compliance with data regulations.Perform backups, recovery, and data integrity checks.Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support.Document database configurations and generate performance reports.Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques with tools like Power BI and SQL.Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies.Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain data systems.Provide reports and visualizations to present insights comprehensibly to stakeholders.Assist in developing data processing systems using Databricks and Python.Support data architecture design for data acquisition and transformation.Support the implementation of data flow and real-time processing solutions.Assist in the coordination with CDC IT personnel and the deployment of data systems.Analyze data to answer questions across a variety of domains.Produce data visualizations that tell a story with data.Create and maintain dashboards to inform key stakeholders.Prepare reports that identify trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.Document procedures and methodology used in analysis.Prepare data for analysis.Verbally present analysis to stakeholders.Drive the development of user personas and product features with data.Query, collect and aggregate data from a multitude of different sources.Work with stakeholders to formalize hypotheses for analysis.Independently identify hypotheses for analysis that will drive business decisions.Essential Skills, Experience, or Competencies

Must-Have Skills

Ability to obtain required security clearance for this project: Public Trust.Completed Bachelor's degree or 4 additional YOEMust have current or previous government contracting experience.A minimum of 5 years of

direct

Database Administration experience.Demonstrated working experience using

SQL databases.Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (or similar).Proficient in cleaning and deduping data with Python, R, or SAS.Proficient in creating data visualizations in Python, R, or SAS.Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, etc).Experience with various BI Tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc).Experience with Splunk, the ELK Stack, or similar.Ability to learn new technology independently.Experience working closely with stakeholders.The ability to tell a story with data.Strong business acumen.Icing-on-the-Cake Skills

Experience with time series databases.Experience with NoSQL databases.Experience with AWS data storage and analytics services.Experience working in an Agile environment.A/B testing experience.So, what’s next?
