Retirement savings planEmployee Assistance ProgramWhat are your contributions to the team?Supervise assigned aircraft maintenance employees and responsible for the daily and overall operations of the aircraft maintenance department, to include safety, schedules, personnel, and quality.Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security programPerform supervisory responsibilities such as performance development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetingsCoordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenanceEnsure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiencyEngage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required)Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiativesManage Database/Reporting to ensure labor efficiency is in line with work orderHow to thrive in this role?You typically have 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection proceduresYou have leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance leadership is preferredYou possess an A P certificate or certificated under FAR (part 65)You are familiar with aircraft inspection system proceduresYou are familiar with Environmental, Health Safety rules and regulationsYou have excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsYou demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop peopleYou have strong organizational and planning skillsNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier family!Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
