Job Summary:

As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic imaging team, specializing in performing mammograms to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast conditions. You will work closely with radiologists, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure the delivery of accurate and high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mammographic procedures with a high level of skill and accuracy.Operate mammography equipment and ensure proper patient positioning.Review images to verify quality and make necessary adjustments.Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.Collaborate with radiologists to provide necessary information for accurate diagnosis.Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information.Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in mammography technology and techniques.Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.State licensure as required.Proven experience in performing mammographic procedures.Strong knowledge of mammography techniques and safety protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Benefits:
