GENERAL SUMMARY:

A key resource supporting the adoption of the Bryan Health Improvement System and implementation of the quality and safety plan. Facilitates the development and maintenance of project/committee charters, project plans and registries, schedules, progress reports, and data files for cross-functional teams. Leads events and projects aligned with quality and performance improvement programs. Coordinates administrative support for the leaders and departments of Performance Excellence, Organizational Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Prevention. Models the behaviors necessary for a culture of high reliability and continuous improvement.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Leads well-scoped projects, events, and training across the organization related to the continuous improvement division and quality programs.

3. *Consults with cross-functional committee and project owners to develop and maintain charters, registries, progress reports, data files, schedules, and improvement plans.

4. *Coordinates system, entity, and division regulatory and quality performance reporting matrices and timelines.

5. *Consults with stakeholders to develop presentations, memorandums, standard work, decision documents, and other reports tailored to the audience and objective.

6. *Coordinates meetings, committees, and projects as assigned; develops agendas, prepares materials, records minutes, and shares own experience, analysis, and recommendations while supporting inclusive and respectful dialogue.

7. * Collaborates with the Information Technology and Data Analytics departments on system design and configuration to support workflows and data-flows for quality programs (Patient experience surveys, patient-reported outcomes surveys, patient and family advisory communities, project management platforms)

8. Collaborates with all levels of leadership, frontline staff and medical staff across the health system to support division objectives and the maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

9. Conducts reviews of relevant news, trends, events, publications/literature, collaboratives, programs, regulations, and educational opportunities; summarizes for division leaders and personnel.

10. Maintains vendor contracts, intranet sites, project tracking platforms, and announcements/news feed posts.

11. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

12. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum of two (2) years professional experience required. Prior experience in quality, performance improvement, project management, or program coordination experience preferred.
