Job Summary:
Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values.
Paramedic license with Critical Care endorsement through appropriate state and national registries, and FP-C/CCP-C certification through IBSC (International Board of Specialty Certification) with valid driver’s license in good standing with the state required.
Additionally, Critical Care Paramedic’s perform various duties to assist in the care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to, obtaining EKG’s, venipuncture, RSI, Surgical Airways, Chest Tube insertion and maintenance, Invasive Line Monitoring, expanded pharmacology scope, Ventilator initiation and management. Perform Critical Care and Specialty Care Transports.

License or Certification:Licensure & Certification: Paramedic License in the state of Alabama with Critical Care endorsement, and FP-C/CCP-C Certification through IBSC required.
