If you're eager to take clients on a journey and help transform field service businesses for the better, you’ll be at home at Commusoft.We are looking for…A Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead the strategy and execution of product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-to-market initiatives. The PMM will manage various work streams involved in product launches and have significant responsibilities in shaping product marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess the key skills necessary to excel in this role and drive the adoption, growth, and revenue of our products.What you’ll do:Product Launch Management:

Oversee and manage all aspects of product launches, from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Market Research:

Conduct win-loss interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Client Testimonials:

Gather and utilize client testimonials to support marketing and sales efforts.

Persona Development:

Develop detailed user and buyer personas to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and refine go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and positioning to effectively communicate value propositions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product management, sales, and other departments to define goals, campaigns, and metrics for product launches.

Content Marketing Management:

Manage a content marketing team to produce high-quality content that supports product marketing initiatives and create compelling materials that highlight product features, benefits, and sales collateral.

Support PLG Efforts:

Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities linked to Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies.

Training and Enablement:

Train internal teams on articulating product benefits and creating supporting documents to enhance sales and customer interactions.

Your skills, behaviours and values:Strategic thinking:

Ability to align product marketing with company business objectives, make data-driven decisions, and prioritize effectively.

Market research:

Deep market analysis becomes even more critical as you ascend to the role of a product marketing manager. You should be able to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats to formulate effective strategies.

Product Expertise:

Become an expert on the products you market and the market itself.

Messaging and positioning:

Skill in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with customers and differentiate from competitors.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Strong ability to work with various departments to ensure product success.

Data analysis:

Proficiency in data analysis tools and ability to derive actionable insights.

Experience with Marketing Tools:

Knowledge of marketing automation software (Hubspot or Salesforce), CRM systems, and data analysis tools (GA4).

Organization:

Strong project and time management skills to juggle multiple projects and launches.

Curiosity and Empathy:

Inquisitive mindset and ability to understand user and buyer perspectives and deep empathy towards your coworkers. Everyone has their workload and different things on their plate.

Salary & Benefits

The base salary is $80-85,000. Other elements of your compensation include:Gym membership contribution - Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance - 20 days of PTO + 11 national holidays - 5 paid sick days - Simple IRA (equivalent to a 401K) - Snacks in the office - Social events - Focus on continuous training and access to conferences.And you’d probably like to know that we have a hybrid working model (10 days a month in the office) but it is an open door so feel free to come in more if you'd like! Please note that for the first month you will be required to come in full-time 8am-5pm. We are based in Fulton Market, Chicago.
