Persevere in Truth.Our school is based on a true relationship with Christ, immersed in a holistic learning environment, beautifully and purposefully designed spaces, nature-inspired indoor/outdoor classrooms, and intimate class sizes.Qualifications:The Director must be a Christian with a deep faith in Jesus Christ.Must meet all current California State requirements for a Preschool Director.Must have at least 7 years of experience in a licensed childcare center.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the owner/development team to implement the unique curriculum.Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including support and care for teachers, children, and families.Manage all day-to-day aspects of the preschool.Participate collaboratively with staff to promote the well-being of the school and the interests of its staff and children.Negotiate conflict resolution with children, parents, and staff.Facilitate the enrollment process, including tours.Handle administrative duties, including supply management, budget management, and maintenance of student contracts and files.Compensation:Starting salary of $65,000 per year.Key Skills:Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.Effective communication and collaboration with the team.Proactive problem-solving to ensure efficient processes.Comfortable using technology and applications relevant to preschool management.Required Spiritual Qualities:Believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.Must have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be in full agreement with the School’s Statement of Faith.Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions (Luke 6:40).Have a Christ-centered home.Have Biblical knowledge and a willingness to share personal testimony.Required Personal Qualities:Spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities.Enthusiastic visionary, encourager, and self-starter with high energy.Passion for working with children.Creativity, imagination, energy, and patience in implementing duties.Organized, proactive, teachable, and resourceful.High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity.Required Professional Qualities:Meets the Child Care Center Director Title 22 qualifications.5+ years of experience in an administrative/leadership role, preferably in a childcare/preschool.Demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy.Academic Leadership:Assist staff in identifying the learning needs of individual children.Plan and deliver learning instructions based on students' needs.Provide stimulating learning environments for children to develop their potential.Collaborate with teachers to plan instructional activities and lessons.Serve as a classroom aide or lead teacher as needed.Perform miscellaneous duties as required.Develop and maintain an annual budget.Professional Leadership:Regularly seek to grow as a professional.Recruit, select, and hire staff in compliance with state regulations.Supervise and formally evaluate all preschool staff.Partner to recruit and effectively onboard staff.Excellent parent communication skills.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed, not an exhaustive list of all essential functions and responsibilities.** Please email your resume as a PDF file to mona.golastani@gmail.com and in the subject line put Preschool Director Position.
