High Point Treatment Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals impacted by Addiction/Mental Health disorders. We offer a continuum of addiction and mental health treatment that includes inpatient detoxification, clinical and transitional stabilization services, medication-assisted treatment, community-based services, and residential programs.Our Mission & VisionHigh Point Treatment Center’s (HPTC) mission is to prevent and treat chemical dependency and provide therapeutic services for mental health issues. Our goal is to help an individual achieve personal change and accept responsibility toward an improved quality of life.HPTC is accomplishing its mission by:Offering a full continuum of care for addictive disorders, which would successfully transition the patient back into the community.Being a leader in the prevention and education for chemical dependency and related issues.Being a major community resource.POSITION DETAILS:The Medical Director provides both medical and operational leadership for the Acute Treatment Services (ATS); and medical oversight of our Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) programs.Opioid Treatment Program coverage/supervision.Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment.Administrative oversight of practitioners.Multidisciplinary Treatment Team Meetings.Qualifications:Medical Degree or Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited medical school.At least three years of experience working with vulnerable populations, including patients with substance use disorders and/or in an Acute Treatment Service setting.At least two years of experience managing programs and a multidisciplinary staff.Current Massachusetts State Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, DEA Certificate, and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Certificate.Board Certified in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, and/or Family Medicine.Preferred: Sub-specialty training and/or Board Certification in Addiction Medicine.Job Type:
