Toronto Dominion Bank6 Month Contract (possible extension up to 2 yrs)Location: Mount Laurel - will consider 2-3 days a week remote however must be able to come into the office, interviews will be in person so no relocation considered.Manager is seeking a Data Modeler/Data Analyst to join DCTS team. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting, staging, storing, migrating, hashing, and analyzing TD Bank (USA) data across multiple channels and product sets. The successful candidate will develop logical data models, conduct data mining, and integrate/match data across different data sets for analytical purposes, and segmentation methodologies to address a wide array of business issues, objectives and strategies.Responsibilities:Develop database models and supporting documentation in order to meet business requirements. Define data requirements and business rules, perform logical and physical data modeling, implement and test database design. Coordinate data models, dictionaries and other documentation across multiple applications.Job Responsibilities:• SME (Subject Matter Expert) to establish, communicate and execute measurement and analytical strategies for TD Bank (USA). Design model/methodology to integrate raw data across different data sources.• Analyze trends & data in both internal and vendor-supplied data to interpret customer relationships and make appropriate recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization.• Support Channels initiatives for TD Bank (USA) with data extraction, migration, storage, integration, and analysis, business cases and providing monthly trended forecast and plan information.• Working with key stakeholders and other members of the Digital Customer Insights team define and manage online customer insights through definition of KPIs, web metrics capabilities and reporting.• Provide value-added data analysis and anticipate the requirements of the Online Channel stakeholders.• Contribute to presentations for senior management that clearly and concisely present findings and recommendations.• Working with other members of the Digital team and tech define and establish standards, processes and policies for an online datamart.• Participate in the education of business partners in the area of data analytics.• Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.Qualifications
MUST HAVES:Experience in developing logical/physical models for operational systems,Experience in database administration and impact analysis of data structure changes.5+ years experience in the following:ERWINOLTPSQL or SASRUPOracleMS Office ToolsMust have worked with Large Data - ability to create and manipulate Data Models1 year experience with HadoopPGP encryptionNice to have:Data warehouse background.Skills:• Undergraduate university degree in business, statistics or analytically-based discipline, or equivalent experience; having a post graduate degree would be an asset.• Experience working with Data Warehouse environments and applications.• Data mining and modeling capabilities with a solid background working with large data sets.• Excellent analytical, organization and presentation skills. A drive to understand the relationships between divergent data metrics.• Experience with cross-channel and data that spans multiple product groups.• Experience with data sanitization such as masking, hashing, and obfuscation algorithms.• Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading and governance.• Experience with the following software and tools:• Microsoft Office• SAS and SQL• Business Intelligence software such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, Business Objects or Cognos• SQL Server• SAS (PC and Host versions)• Win SQL• Encryption products like WinZIP and PGP• Experience with Web Analytics Applications like Adobe/Omniture, Google Analytics, Coremetrics would be an asset.• Strong online/web/digital experience and knowledge of the latest user trends and behavior.• A strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy and on-time delivery.• Ability to work independently as well as a contributing member of the team.• Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.• Strong interpersonal skills.5-7 years experience required.Additional Information
