BACKGROUND:
Fat Head’s Brewery is a regional craft brewery with a national reputation for excellence. Our beers have won dozens of World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival Awards across a diverse array of styles. As we look to grow our business in our Midwest (and growing) footprint, we’re seeking to recruit Marketing talent that can help take us to the next level. While expertise and experience with craft beer isn’t a must, we are looking for a person who possesses a history and passion for engaging, exciting and activating consumers – and who is interested in learning more about the craft beer industry and its dynamics.
PURPOSE:
This new role will develop and drive the marketing campaigns and communication efforts for Fat Head’s beers, Production Brewery and Beer Hall. They will help to more effectively bring the compelling stories of Fat Head’s to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop marketing strategies and tactics in support of Fat Head’s beers and brewery, inclusive of:
Consumer promotions
Retail events
Advertising and marketing campaigns
New product introductions
Point-of-sale materials (POS)
Develop marketing strategies and tactics in support of Fat Head’s Beer Hall and Gift Shop, inclusive of:
On-site events and festivals
Advertising and marketing campaigns
On-site communication and messaging
Copywriting that showcases our brand and storytelling, inclusive of:
Beer names, descriptions and packaging
Promotional materials
Media releases and announcements
Newsletter
Supervision of Social Media Coordinator, inclusive of agenda-setting, content collaboration (photography/video) and planning for all relevant SM platforms (Website, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter X, et al) and digital initiatives
Program development and management (e.g. external ambassador program)
On-going market and industry research and analysis to drive sales (e.g. sales trends; competitor; category; consumer)
Support the maintenance and execution of strategic sponsorships, maximizing impact and engagement
Be a leading voice and champion for Fat Head’s culture by bringing a passionate energy for the brand
Quality and Safety – Role model and monitor all safety standards
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires 5 to 7 years of sales and marketing experience preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
Passion and knowledge of the craft beer industry and emerging trends
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to effectively manage time and multiple relationships
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in MS Office software including Excel, Word and Power Point
Attention to detail and record keeping
Focus on customer satisfaction
Innovative, ambitious, driven yet caring and dedicated
