30% Per diem float position offering day/evening shifts for coverage at University Hospital, UW Science Drive Medical Center, Eastpark Medical Center, UW Health 1 South Park Street Clinic, and UW Health East Madison Hospital. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a

Radiologic Technologist – MRI

to:

Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.

Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.

Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.

Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Education :

Minimum – Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology

Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Work Experience :

Minimum – Previous healthcare experience

Preferred – Two (2) years of clinic experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum –

Certification by appropriate body (ARRT and valid Wisconsin Radiological License)

CPR certification required within 3 months of hire

MRI certification within 30 months of hire

Preferred –

MRI certification
