Network Security EngineerIndigo Beam is looking for 2 knowledgeable Network Security engineers with 10+ years of Network/Cyber Security experience remediating excessive/over permissive firewall rules related to extranet firewalls. This will include the ability to discern what an excessive/over permissive “risky” rule is on a firewall per company policies and remediate.Required:

2-3+ years’ experience in firewall remediation – working experience in Cisco ASAs. Proficient in the management of ACLs, access-list logging, and syslog messages. Operational experience with Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall is a plus.Experience working in large complex environments. Familiarity with enterprise management tools such as Splunk or Qradar (for logging analysis), Connection Records database, InfoBlox, Asset management tools, Algosec.Detail-oriented & process-driven, results-driven – The work is tedious by nature and persons assigned need to be self-starters. Good at documenting their work.Technical Knowledge – Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and firewall configuration and management. Experience with Cisco firewalls and/or Palo Alto Networks firewalls is required. Ability to read network captures.5+ years Cyber security management background/experience.Preferred:

Candidate should have experience building business relationships with BU contacts – someone that has a broad technical background and can explain/communicate on a non-technical level with business candidates. This relationship building helps when it comes time to validate the proposed restrictive rules to be put in place.Leadership – Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage work activities to meet customer needs and expectations. Ability to accomplish desired results independently with minimal direction in alignment with team goals and security standards.Critical Thinking – Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine root cause and resolution of problems. Provide technical expertise in cyber security infrastructure during cyber incidents, response, and remediation.Familiar with enterprise tools, strong interpersonal skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.Nice to have skills include: Tools: Algosec, Voyence, Splunk, Qradar, Experience with F5, GTM, LTM, and ASM.Team includes eight other senior resources that are dispersed on all operations onshore and globally.
