Job Description
We are seeking like-minded PhD candidates for our Palo Alto, CA and Washington, D.C. office. There are various opportunities within Rhombus for the right individuals to make an impact. Successful candidates will bring a systems thinking mindset, modeling and simulation skill sets, and the ability to communicate clearly in multiple technical contexts in a fast-paced setting.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
PhD Degree in Quantitative Sciences including any Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Biological Sciences, Economics, Finance, Political Science or any other discipline where you have been immersed in quantification
Deep experience with modeling and simulation (multi-scale)
Experience and knowledge of modern data analysis and data management techniques. We're seeking candidates who can code efficiently in Python.
Ability to capture and scope problems
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
Imagination and creativity!
