ContractAmerica Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space.We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with a combined 200+ years of experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for several mid-large wireless carriers internationally. We provide low power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease recurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.Responsibilities:• Handle all OEM and certification needs of the device.• Provide secure access to our internal portal.• Manage and clarify requirements as they change.• Drive IoT for chipset-based designs.• Meet with OEMs to get development status.• Provide OEMs with plans to speed up the process.• Set up and manage device lockdowns.• Provide approval to test the device.• Review waivers with the Internal lab.• Track devices at third-party labs.• Resolve issues with OEMs.• Work with the Internal lab to determine pass or fail criteria.• Load profiles and certify devices.Qualifications:• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering (EE/CS) or a related technical field; a Master’s degree in Marketing or Business is a plus.• Experience in reviewing marketing or technical requirements and managing a database to schedule and track devices.• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in tracking.• Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Experience with architectures and designs of embedded equipment.• Experience in project planning and estimation.• 2-4 years of experience in wireless equipment.• Compile and compute data from a variety of complex or technical sources.• Coordinate workload distribution as part of a team.• Conduct investigations on moderately complex issues under limited supervision and prepare reports and recommendations.• Draft and edit moderately complex technical and confidential correspondence.Minimum B.S. degree required; well organized in the application of engineering Microsoft Office Suite; 5 to 7 years of experience preferred.
