In this role, the tester(s) will be responsible for working with the Software Test Engineering Lead, Test Engineering team and biomedical project team members. The resource will develop test plans, test cases and procedures as well as test and validate changes to the Biomedical IT software. Resource will assess requirements for testability and participate in risk assessment meetings in order to assist in the development of risk mitigations. Resource will utilize the risk mitigations to determine the appropriate test strategy to validate software and configuration changes.Required Skills:
Requires 5+ years of testing experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science degree or equivalent work experienceRequires 3+ years of performance testing experienceRequires experience with testing web-based applications, client-server applications, and highly configurable COTs productsRequires experience with HP Test Tools: Performance Center, Quality Center and QTPRequires experience in developing risk-based test strategiesRequires experience in the development of high-quality test documentation such as Test Plans, Test cases and procedures, RTMs, and Test Analysis ReportsExperience testing in a formal and/or regulated environment using structured methodologies.Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proficiency in automated testing toolsExperience with a variety of types of testing such as functional, interface, integration, regression, compatibility, etc.Experience with messaging services such as BizTalkAbility to quickly learn new application systems and technologiesKnowledge of basic project management framework and methodologyAbility to accurately analyze complex application requirements to assess if they are clear, unambiguous and testableAbility to estimate test effortsAdditional Information
