Technical expertise for a defined projectSupport requirements elaboration and analysisParticipate in design and architectural sessions (working with Technical Team Leads) as required with both project and enterprise perspectiveAdhere to structured development environment while able to adapt to periodic high pressure scenariosAssist in resource identification and monitoringIdentify critical business processes for continued improvement in Harte Hanks Process Engineering effortsTechnology and tools research and proposalsEnterprise framework development and deploymentSecondary Functions:
Review use cases and workflow diagramsMake technology recommendations for optimal construction, maintenance and performanceStaying abreast of the latest developments in application development and technologiesSupport conflict resolutionExperience/Knowledge/Skills:
6+ years of professional Software Development experienceProficient with object oriented programming languages (such as: .NET)Proficient with .NET Framework 3.5/4.0 in Microsoft Visual StudioProficient with web based technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET MVCClient-side scripting experience with AJAX frameworks, jQuery, Node.js, REST/WCF, WebServices and HTML5 a plusIn-depth understanding of relational databases, experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012, SSIS, T-SQL and Stored ProceduresProficient with both application and database performance optimization techniquesSignificant expertise with toolsets:Source Code Control: Git and Visual Source SafeIDE: Visual Studio, BIS, SQL Server Enterprise ManagerAbility to coach and mentor other developersAbility to work on multiple projects/assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlinesAbility to work with team members or independently on multiple projects in a fast pace environmentExperience in SSRS and SSAS a plusIIS Configuration and Administration experience is a plus
