Our client is a global commodity trade shop in Houston, TX specializing in both physical and financial commodities and they are looking for a Lead Trading Analyst with power experience.
This commercial trading analyst will provide direct support to the traders, be actively involved in the daily PnL and Risk, and maintenance of structured deals and related models.
Some of the responsibilities include:Day-to-day valuation and riskQuantitative workImplementing and testing new trade instruments in their ETRM systemLeading, coordinating, and teaching downstream groups (risk, accounting, developers) on new instruments and trades
As they are growing and building out their desk, this person will have the ability to put their own stamp on the process, models, etc.
