Halfdays is an outdoor apparel brand for the modern woman with a mission to make outdoor sports more approachable, inclusive, and fun.Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather input and insights for merchandising and demand planning.Monitor and adjust forecasts as needed to ensure alignment with business goals and market conditions.Analyze pre-season, in-season, and post-season sales to find opportunities to improve sales and SKU productivity and minimize inventory and margin risk in future seasons.Own and manage the OTB process to optimize inventory levels and financial performance.Develop and implement OTB plans in collaboration with merchandising and finance teams.Monitor OTB performance and make adjustments to ensure alignment with budget and sales targets.Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels.Identify and address potential inventory issues, such as excess stock or stockouts.Develop strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.Partner with Wholesale Sales Manager to optimize inventory across sales channels.Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct financial analysis to support demand planning and OTB decision-making.Prepare and present reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and OTB metrics.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment of demand planning and OTB strategies.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and share insights.Participate in key business meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.6+ years of experience in demand planning, merchandising, financial analysis, or inventory management, with at least 3 years directly owning the OTB process for an apparel business.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.Experience with demand planning software and financial modeling tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Salary Range:
