Our content and audience is rapidly growing and we need a talented and dedicated Senior Director, Strategic Accounts who can help SportTechie take advantage of exciting new revenue opportunities.The JobThe SportTechie Senior Director, Strategic Accounts will have an opportunity to lead significant revenue generation and growth for a rapidly expanding media company in a burgeoning industry.The Senior Sales Consultant will be empowered to:Sell creative sponsorship and advertising packages across SportTechie’s platforms to clients trying to reach an influential audience of sports industry influencers.Generate sales-ready leads through effective cold and warm outreach.Consult with SportTechie management to draft and deliver proposals to clients.Work remotely to generate and maintain new leads in the constantly expanding sports technology industry.Build and manage strategic pipeline from prospecting to closing.Set and lead face-to-face meetings, video conferences or phone calls with stakeholders and senior decision makers.What we are looking for in candidates:Industry expertise in B2B brand awareness sales with a proven track record of closing large sales and generating client growth.Existing rolodex of C-Level contacts within tech and sports endemic brands that can be immediately applied to generate sales leads.An experienced and self-driven sales professional.Ability to find and develop new business opportunities with leading sports and technology brands.A tenacious salesperson who will live and breathe sales and revenue creation for SportTechie.Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of senior client and agency contacts.Experience selling and creating sponsorships across events, web, email, social, video and mobile that include branded content and other creative methods of advertising.Job LocationWork remotely; residing in a major city is a plus.Strategic travel for conferences and meetings with clients and partners.CompensationCommission only (1099 Contractor).A rockstar performer will earn $300,000 in commission in year one.Significant sales success may be rewarded with stock options, bonuses and consideration for a salaried position.How to applyEmail us these items:Cover letter with examples detailing largest previous sales, relevant rolodex and your enthusiasm for this role.Resume with references.Note: Please don’t be shy about demonstrating personality, knowledge of sports and technology and genuine excitement for filling this crucial role on the SportTechie team.
