This position will depend on contact award and is expected to be a Hybrid role based in Bethesda, Maryland.

Role:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Privacy Lead to support the anticipated National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Center of Information Technology’s (CIT) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Operations contract.

Responsibilities:

Ensures NIH systems comply with NIH/HHS policies to minimize risk and protect confidentiality and integrity of PII/PHI/Sensitive data.

Collaborates closely with System Owners and stakeholders.

Leads the team in collecting information/data from FISMA systems.

Develops Privacy artifacts like PIAs, PTAs, SORNs, etc.

Interprets and implements privacy laws and regulations to ensure NIH systems' compliance.

Provides guidance on privacy law implications for system and policy decisions.

Stays updated with changes in privacy legislation and advises on necessary adjustments.

Educates and trains staff on privacy law compliance and best practices.

Assists in the development of privacy policies and procedures.

Oversees data protection impact assessments and advocates for privacy by design in new products and services.

Leads incident response, including data breach preparedness.

Conducts privacy-related awareness and training among employees.

Communicates privacy goals and values both internally and externally.

Designs controls for managing privacy compliance and ensuring customers' rights.

Develops and maintains a robust retention schedule that aligns with policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant field.

Minimum of Three (3) years of experience performing as a Privacy Lead.

Demonstrated experience ensuring that technologies protect privacy and that policies are developed, implemented, and maintained in line with federal and state laws.

Proven ability to drive strategic direction by embedding privacy considerations into business processes.

Highly Desired Certifications:

CIPP/US, CIPM

Clearance:

Public Trust Clearance or higher is required.
