.About Your Team:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a member of the Enterprise Architecture organization responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure multi-user enterprise software platforms.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and manage cloud resources on AWS.Enforce GitOps workflows for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.Ensure the clarity, correctness, testability, observability, performance, and organization of software projects.Mentor and empower team members by developing and enforcing coding standards and best practices.Utilize Python, Bash, and Groovy as needed for scripting and automation tasks.Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions, leveraging AWS services for scalability and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.Design data models and select appropriate technology for OLTP, OLAP, and Streaming use cases.Provide effective written and verbal communication skills, including diagramming system architecture.Break down large ambiguous projects into discrete requirements and timelines, and
