BestResponse Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center
. This Center will be a 24/7/365 facility dedicated to providing immediate, compassionate care for individuals facing both mental health and/or substance use crises. Our center supports individuals across their lifespan with personalized treatment aimed at rapid stabilization and holistic recovery.Responsibilities:Oversee medical services provided to consumers by BestSelf medical staff including psychiatrists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses.Act as a resource to the Senior Management Team and advise on all medical matters.Provide organizational leadership to the medical staff ensuring high quality medical care.Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures related to medical care.Offer education and information to the clinical staff as needed.FLSA Status:
HourlySchedule:
Part Time (30-34 hours per week)Starting Rate:
$130-140 per hour.

Communicating with both medical and non-medical staff.Policy Development:
Contributing to the development and review of medical policies and procedures.Job Duties:Attend regular meetings to provide medical insight.Provide psychiatric perspective in policy development.Review and sign treatment plans for prescribing clinicians.Be involved in new program development and evaluation.Review inpatient and emergency room utilization.Develop guidelines for ER evaluation.Assist in developing policies for prescribing clinicians.Oversight of policies, procedures, and training for routine medical care.Develop and maintain prescriber performance expectations.Collaborate with the program director for non-medical staff supervision.Conduct psychological autopsies as needed.Provide psychiatric consultation to primary care physicians.Educate and supervise clinical staff as needed.Assist with optimizing electronic medical records.Assist in recruitment and training opportunities.Develop liaisons with private and public payors.Assist in developing referral relationships with other institutions.Ensure program compliance with all laws and regulations.Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:Board certified or eligible Psychiatrist with a minimum of five (5) years experience in a licensed program.Skilled in treating a broad range of psychiatric illnesses and addiction disorders.Knowledge in clinical and administrative supervision.Ability to work effectively in groups and lead medical personnel.Organization OverviewVision Statement:
