Role: Agile CoachLocation: Washington, DC Metropolitan AreaDuration: 6 Months Contract (will continually extend)

Extensive experience as an AGILE COACH (Certification is a must)Experience as Scrum Master on a variety of different projects (at least 2 years)Can create training materials and conduct training on Agile topicsHas served in a mentoring or coaching roleHas experience in implementing Agile techniques in different cultures and environmentsHas successfully run Agile projects of varying size and complexityServant Leader, able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job doneMust be able to communicate well with teamsAble to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a teamMust be able to ensure Agile and Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.Situationally aware, notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to managementAble to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approachesAttitude of empowerment, able to lead a team to self-organizationAble to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trustNice to have:

Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterpriseUnderstand basic fundamentals of software development processes and proceduresFamiliarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practicesAdditional Information
