As a VP of Marketing with Bell, you would be responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing goals. Specific responsibilities include market planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; coordination with sites; and hiring and directing day-to-day activities of marketing staff. There are three direct reports that report into this position.

What you’ll do to make a difference:
Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the marketing needs of the company to ensure appropriate presence
Provide direction and support to Marketing department team
Lead marketing component of BAL Strategic Plan, including but not limited to ROI analysis, performance metrics, resident experience, expense optimization and risk management
Serve as thought leader for Bell branding, including brand statement and essence, signage, collaterals; ensure consistent execution; ensure protection of brand
Evaluate and enhance online presence on Websites, community websites; manage search engine optimization, ratings and review sites
Work with BAL, marketing team, and sites to support on-line leasing, both for reservations and integrated leasing
Manage all digital assets (including, but not limited to, floorplans and photography)
Coordinate social media efforts (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, rent mine on-line, use of Craig’s List and other advertising sites)
Assist VP Business Development with third party management marketing; support third party management clients in marketing of sites managed by Bell
Liaise with VP Purchasing on marketing clauses in third party management contracts
Evaluate overall marketing plan and recommend enhancements; staff with right positions and skill sets
Establish service standards for marketing services
Advise executive management on marketing in support of business goals and objectives
Support ISG with investor communications for both HNW investors and institutional investors
Prepare corporate objectives and budgets
Interact with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by marketing
Establish company infrastructure to assist, support and guide individual divisions /departments/ properties in marketing efforts
Implement Marketing checklist for new property management assumption and divestiture; improve processes and efficiencies
Develop crisis management plans in concert with external PR firm; coordinate with impacted internal departments
Serve as a Bell spokesperson
Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consult with Human Resources, as appropriate

What you bring to our team:
B.A. or B.S. required
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in managing marketing department in a medium or large size company (500 or more employees)
High level Real Estate experience a plus
Must demonstrate Bell Core Values and work and fit well within the company culture
Must be detail-oriented and have strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-based setting; must display a professional demeanor at all times
Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be resourceful and well organized
Must present a professional image
Must be customer service focused
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Help develop and maintain strong customer service relationships
Flexibility in working hours and travel as required to accomplish the work
Must be skilled in strategic planning and execution
