Information Assurance Specialist

A3T is looking for an Information Assurance Specialist to support our team in execution of Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security (CS) support to a federal government agency and its mission partners.
Job Duties:
Conduct vulnerability assessments of the organization’s infrastructure, vulnerability mitigation recommendations, risk assessment and security architecture reviews. Research, develop, test, implement, and document all approved changes in accordance with the priorities established by the task manager. Evaluate the existing centralized logging network capabilities, forensic procedures, as well as certification and accreditation procedures. Research and analyze technology problems, issues, and program requirements in accordance with Department of State Diplomatic Security Configuration Standards. Scan and monitor assigned systems on a daily basis using Tripwire, tenable and web inspect. Develop reports using the raw data collected and present findings at the weekly Information Assurance Meeting. Report security violations to the ISSO as soon as they are discovered. The ISSO shall decide on appropriate course of action and inform the contractor of their decision. Produce FSI specific documentation and user guides. May be designated to be responsible for assisting in maintaining equipment and accounts on the customer’s networks. Requirements:
Top Secret Clearance required. Must have a high school degree and ten (10) years of relevant Information Technology (IT) experience and eight (8) years of experience in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, OR a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and eight (8) years of relevant IT experience, and five (5) years of experience in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity. Security+ or higher certification. Conduct in a professional manner in all personal interactions with customers and with the team. Utilize proper judgement and provide a high level of customer support in a professional manner.
Desired (not required) Attributes:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. CASP or higher-level certification. Program Management experience running a small/medium support services contract with multiple subcontractors. Communication and Briefing Skills. Experience with cost, schedule and performance as it relates to program execution. Experience working in a program office. Company Overview
