(SIG) is looking to hire a sharp, driven, and detail-oriented Enterprise Architect. The candidate will be involved with projects designing and defining business, organizational, and information technology (IT) architectures for integration across multiple domains, platforms, operating systems, and applications throughout the enterprise. The candidate needs to have the ability to work at conceptual, logical and physical Enterprise Architecture levels. Familiarity with DHS ALF/SELC processes is highly desired.

Salary: $130,000 to $165,000+

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience working with Senior Leadership to understand and implement Enterprise Architecture practices that align with Strategic Goals.

Experience with FEAF, DODAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks which describe the tasks and activities, operational elements, and resource flow exchanges required to conduct operations for an enterprise organization.

Experience as an enterprise architect with proven ability to effectively conceptualize, design, build, and refine operational views and related visualizations of enterprise processes consistent with FEAF, DODAF or similar EA standards.

Experience in defining and writing enterprise EA standards, procedures and criteria guidance tailored for organization lifecycle documentation and activities.

Experience developing and visualizing use cases, operational views, taxonomies, and other enterprise architecture artifacts to logically represent the inter-relationships and interdependencies across an ecosystem of organizations, roles and responsibilities, functions, programs, systems, and other entities inherent to enterprise processes across an organization.

Experience analyzing as-is enterprise business process architectures and making recommendations to realize efficiencies and drive mission planning / execution outcomes.

Supports the development of business cases, documentation of pain points, gaps, desired outcomes, and measures of success, strategic intent/vision statements, and user stories.

Leads and participates in architectural and business needs assessment workshops to produce architectural content to document architectural considerations covered in these workshops.

Has the ability to assess emerging technologies in AI/ML, RPA, Cybersecurity, and other technologies to formulate Executive level briefings.

Experience reviewing documents such as Mission Needs Statement, CONOPS, ORD, etc. and providing EA SME critical comments to ensure program success and alignment with operational, modernization and financial goals and constraints.

Experience creating SOP's, playbooks, checklists, criteria models that will be used for document and program health reviews and assessments.

Ability to assess alignment of proposed solutions and emerging technologies to the DHS strategic plan and provide executive level summaries of alignment assessments.

Knowledge of common hardware and software, familiarity with cloud computing, computer security, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Understanding of emerging technology and trends.

Provide expertise and recommendations to address security concerns with emerging technology and special domains (e.g., IoT, biometrics, mobile, cloud), and threat modeling.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with five plus (5+) years' experience with at least two plus (2+) years directly supporting Federal or DoD clients.

Have two plus (2+) years of technical writing experience with system design or enterprise architecture, at minimum, for multiple audiences including executive leadership.

Must understand the FEAF and similar frameworks, approaches, processes and methodologies as both methodologist and practitioner.

Understanding of the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) highly preferred.

Education and Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited institution required.

Be a U.S. citizen with a current federal clearance (Public Trust or above) or an active clearance from a Federal Agency.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Current DHS badge - HIGHLY DESIRED.
