Townsquare Media is looking for a dynamic, innovative, driven individual to lead and develop our multimedia advertising sales team in Bozeman Montana. You can expect a dynamic and competitive work environment that fosters success, training, development and growth opportunities!We are looking for a hands-on leader with proven success in sales of digital and traditional advertising to join Townsquare as our Director of Sales. This is a management position with a focus on driving revenue by building a culture of success and leading the team to become the best in-class media company in Bozeman Montana.Responsibilities
Lead a team of Account Executives responsible for selling integrated advertising solutions to local and regional businesses including broadcast radio, LIVE event sponsorships and digital advertising including website design, SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Social, Streaming TV and much more.Manage the daily operations of the local sales department.Lead sales team to exceed market revenue targets by developing a sales strategy and holding the team accountable to achieving their individual goals.Recruit, onboard, train and develop both new and current Account Executives.Work hands-on with the AEs in the field with prospecting for new business, client needs analysis meetings, advertising proposal presentations, campaign data recap meetings, creative discussions and ongoing client retention.Hold weekly individual focus meetings with each Account Executive to identify sales opportunities within their prospect and client lists and advise how to push those opportunities forward along with providing personal coaching and development.Set daily, weekly and monthly key performance metrics and hold AEs accountable for achieving.Organize, create content for and lead weekly Sales Meetings that incorporate ongoing sales training of Townsquare Media’s various digital, radio and website solutions.Responsible for maximizing client revenue opportunities with on-going account list management.Develop strong client relationships and community partnerships that further our business.Develop strong internal relationships with both local and regional support staff.Become proficient in all Townsquare Media advertising solutions both digital and radio along with various research software and first/third party data sources.Serve as a key member of the local leadership team by driving and supporting all company initiatives.Qualifications:
3+ years of sales management experience and/or 3+ years of selling digital and broadcast media.Strong marketing and advertising acumen.Strong knowledge of digital advertising solutions along with a track record of selling them.Radio and/or Website sales experience are a plus but not required.Effective verbal and written communications are essential.Previous experience setting and holding a team accountable to sales metrics.Must have solid presentation skills and ability to create and lead training sessions.Passion for coaching and developing people.Ability to motivate and encourage a team.Must have successful experience in consultative selling.Goal-oriented, strong work ethic and coachable.Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience working with a CRM.Valid Driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle.Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.About Us#J-18808-Ljbffr
