Manages operations, enhancements, and day-to-day functionality of the Kronos scheduling system. Ensures payroll policy is followed and provides weekly payroll interfaces to the Lawson payroll system in an accurate and timely manner. Implements Clinical Staffing vendor contracts, develops working relationships, and provides reporting of external staffing utilization by hospitals. Prepares in-depth financial analysis to determine the overall financial impact to the hospitals related to the implementation of new patient care services programs and changes to existing programs and policies. Educates and consults nursing clinical management on budgeting, interpretation of financial reports, and managing staff resources to volume. Provides bi-weekly productivity reporting to clinical and senior management in a timely and accurate manner.Establishes the skill mix and staffing ratios for all patient care units in the system in partnership with patient care services teams and senior patient care services leadership. Develops and implements a productivity monitoring system and validates the productivity measures. Assists designated management personnel with unit-specific budget development and compliance, recommending staffing adjustments as required.Hires, trains, orients, evaluates, and when necessary disciplines and recommends discharge of subordinate personnel. Assigns and prioritizes projects of subordinate personnel. Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to the philosophy and objectives of continuous improvement, teamwork, the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and adheres to the Customer Service Standards.Monitors activities for and ensures compliance with laws, government regulations, JCAHO requirements, and policies. As directed, implements external and internal audit recommendations. Ensures hospital departments achieve objectives for diversity of their suppliers.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or finance.
