Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.The Organizational Development (OD) Consultant contributes to organizational, team, and individual performance and effectiveness using action research, experiential learning, and behavioral science techniques. This position focuses on areas such as talent development, performance coaching and consulting, organizational design and effectiveness, employee engagement, employee retention, employee experience, HR systems and processes, and change management system-wide. The OD Consultant consults with key stakeholders to solve for the needs of the system through design and delivery of OD programs, processes, and initiatives. Responsible for exhibiting a high degree of influence without authority.This role does require travel, to one of the different campuses, at least once a week.Required:Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees preferable) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology/Sociology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or any other major with significant qualitative and quantitative coursework5-7 years of relevant experience including managing large scale projectsExperience designing, implementing, measuring and reporting organizational development interventionsA professional presence with polished and well-developed facilitation, written and oral communication skillsExperience facilitating, coaching and mentoring teams specifically to drive consensus, brainstorm and/or to gather data for projectsUnderstanding of change management, agile principles and design thinkingStrong planning, problem solving, organizational and analysis skills; comfort sharing insight and perspective with all levels of the organization.Designing assessment instrumentsStrong software skills (e.g. Advanced PowerPoint, databases, Advanced Excel, etc.).Ability to travel to various Northside Hospital locations on a regular basis.Preferred:5-7 years of external consulting experienceAdvanced degree (MS, MBA, Ed. D., Ph. D) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Learning and Organizational Change, Psychology, Business, Economics, Human Resources, Sociology, or any other major with significant qualitative and quantitative coursework
