10-12+ months (Possibilities of extension)Note From Manager:Job Description:We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to help integrate our automation workstation based high throughput protein production, purification and screening platform with an existing informatics program.Working collaboratively with scientists and software developers, the candidate will map the workflow of physical goods within the system, define tracking connections between automation and informatics systems, and develop and validate those connections.Additionally, the candidate will assist with the programming and

curation of Tecan protocols.The candidate will create workflow documentation and detailed user protocols for this process.Final protocols will provide sufficient documentation of the process and automation protocols to enable staff to execute them, and extend their function in their absence.Key Responsibilities:Develop a strategy for flow of materials and information between automation workstations, laboratory instrumentation, and

Qualifications:BS or MS in scientific discipline such as medical technology or computer science.A demonstrated track record of impact through automation.Direct experience with the creation of

automation workflows utilizing Hamilton and Tecan equipment
