Seller Snap seeks a highly skilled and experienced Engineer with a data orientation to join our talented R&D team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing and deploying scalable data systems and pipelines, with a strong knowledge of cloud computing, data engineering, and data best practices.Responsibilities:
Take part in the full life cycle of user-facing applications and automations at scale, from design to implementation, testing, and production.Develop a strong understanding of the business, industry, codebase, and/or systems.Build data applications to power our intelligence using tools like Spark.Push the boundaries of engineering and data in the organization, finding new and innovative ways to use data to drive business value.Ship impactful data solutions and features that enhance our data consumer experience.Requirements:
3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on big data technologies.Comprehensive computer science fundamentals in coding, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.BS in Computer Science.4+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on big data technologies.Experience with Spark, Kafka, and/or other big data technologies.Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Delta Lake, HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB.Familiarity with Apache Hudi/Iceberg, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics, and/or Databricks.How to Apply:
