MS/BS degree in a computer science field or related disciplineGood experience in large-scale software developmentExperience in HadoopStrong Java programming, shell scripting, Python, and SQLStrong development skills around Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Impala, SparkStrong understanding of Hadoop internalsGood understanding of AVRO and JSON and other compression formatsExperience with build tools such as MavenExperience with databases like OracleExperience with performance/scalability tuning, algorithms and computational complexityExperience (at least familiarity) with data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL developmentAbility to understand ERDs and relational database schemasProven ability to work across functional teams to deliver appropriate resolutionsQualifications
