Supply Chain Management (SCM) D365 F&O Functional Lead ConsultantLocation: Houston, TX – onsiteContract Duration: Long termKey ResponsibilitiesLead the Supply Chain functional track of an implementation.Provide expert-level product knowledge of D365 F&O SCM.Collaborate with client SMEs and other consultants to ensure all client requirements are met.Provide product training and knowledge transfer.Perform software configuration, testing, and validation.Document requirements, Fit/Gap analysis, and functional software designs.Work with offshore consultants and project managers to deliver services.Job RequirementsComprehensive knowledge of all SCM modules in D365 F&O including Inventory, Product Information Management, Sales Order, Procurement, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management.Knowledge of Production, Master Planning, and Demand Planning is a plus.Ability to identify issues and obstacles and resolve them within the project scope or escalate them appropriately.Gather and document client business requirements thoroughly, including business processes and individual functions.Perform fit/gap analysis on requirements, identifying gaps in standard functionality and best possible workarounds.Configure SCM modules to meet client-specific requirements.Create Functional Design Documents for software modifications to address approved gaps in functionality, ensuring designs are efficient and adhere to best practices.Understand project scope, adhering to it, and escalate any out-of-scope requests to the Project Manager.Lead workshops, sessions, conference calls, and presentations related to SCM.Map tables and fields with D365 F&O data schema.Follow established implementation methodology and adhere to accepted document templates for all deliverables.Knowledge of software testing processes and best practices.Demonstrate D365 F&O SCM functionality and processes to clients in an understandable manner, without error.5-10+ full lifecycle Dynamics F&O implementations.Certification in D365 F&O SCM.Expert-level knowledge and experience implementing the following modules:
Inventory, PIM, Warehouse Management, Sales Order, Procurement, Transportation Management.Production Control is a plus.
Proficient with MS Office, Teams, DevOps/Jira, and SharePoint.Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus, or other “recipe”-based industries (e.g., food, chemical, etc.).Knowledge of integration strategies and best practices related to D365 F&O.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
