OverviewAs a Quality Engineer, you will join our best-in-class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings. This position is responsible for the development, execution and optimization of the site’s quality management system that assists internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives that re-engineer processes and methods targeted at achieving company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality.Permanent Opportunity in St. Paul, MNThis position is onsite, working out of our St. Paul, Minnesota location.Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, executing and optimizing the site's ISO-certified quality management system, including: NCMS, CAR/SCAR, Deviation, calibration and Internal Auditing processes.Influence business bottom line results by delivering and reporting quality data. Responsible for Mfg. Quality Gemba & MDI process. Focus peers, co-workers and management on the appropriate metrics and actions based on those metrics, assuring effective tracking of operational performance – visual management.Responsible for product/process quality for the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer, minimizing Quality-related risks through creation and maintenance of PFMEA, Control Plan and Quality ABC’s.Supplier Quality: improve supplier quality by working with procurement, engineering and suppliers.In-house manufacturing: support manufacturing to maximize product quality and reliability.Customers: champion the reduction of customer complaints, warranty DPPM and related costs.Benchmark business processes against best-in-class and drive implementation of best practices throughout the organization.New Product Development participation, measured by participation of DFMEA development, and leading the PFMEA, Control Plan processes and PPAP process.Ability to travel domestic & international ~ less than 10%.Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline is required. Master's Degree is preferred.Experience in quality or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment that has embraced lean concepts, QMS manufacturing practices and progressive customer relationships.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.Knowledge of various quality system methodologies; Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, APQP, etc.ASQ Certification for Certified Quality Engineer and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.Electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.Compensation
