Full-timeWe are seeking software engineers to build APIs and micro-services working with product managers & developers, formulate software designs with enterprise architects, code, test, and help push into production in an all-In AWS cloud environment.This position will focus on build out of backend platform capabilities for a machine learning full stack application (data – services – API – mobile/web consumer experience) with numerous complex technology, security and consumer experience elements.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience5+ years of Java and Linux experience2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs / JSONStrong data structures and algorithms / computer science fundamentalsKnowledge of relational and non-relational database design conceptsAbility to work in a fast-paced agile software release environmentAbility to work in a team or individuallySuccessful Candidates Will:Be results-oriented, with a creative approach to problem solvingHave a strong bias for action, and a take charge attitudeApply the latest technology to develop innovative solutions and assist in quality assuranceCreate design proposals and proof of concept samples for review with internal stakeholdersFully test and document new and existing code, and generally maintain the highest standard for code qualityBe able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersBe responsible for the design, development, and testing of JSON/REST APIs and services in Linux to facilitate scalable front-end user interactions.Have the ability to work in a team environment including effective communication within development groups, product, and business.SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:RESTful APIAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Direct Staffing Inc
