The HW and Network Administrator is responsible for all server and infrastructure installations, maintenance troubleshooting, and remediation for the data center. This person will focus on improving the stability and performance of the system, maintaining and improving the security posture of the systems, continuous monitoring of system health, and troubleshooting issues that arise. The internal title for this role is System Engineering.Datacenter On-site SupportAnalyze, research, configure, install networks & computer systemsWork with OEM on server repair warranty and parts replenishmentEscort visitors within the datacenterInterface with electrical and infrastructure vendors for routine maintenance visitsOrder supplies to replenish data center stock or for upcoming projectsUse advanced troubleshooting skills for hardware and infrastructure problem or failure remediationGenerate and work from ticket system to provide support and projectSalary range: 85K~ 96KQualifications

3+ years’ experience in datacenter network operation, data center, and infrastructure engineering in medium to large data center environments (100-500 servers with supporting infrastructure servers)3+ years’ experience in Server / Storage Hardware Management (DELL / HP / IBM / Oracle)Experience with cabling systems (UTP, Optical Fiber)3+ years hands-on experience with server repair and warranty parts serviceExperience with protocols and services based on TCP/IPExperience with routers & switchesExperience working in a Highly Available datacenter environment with high uptime with little to no disruption in services or availabilityAbility to work well within a teamBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferredPhysical Demands and Working Conditions

Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 50 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with travel to various locations on an occasional basis.Additional Information
