Senior Java Developer + Kafka + Cassandra + Spring Developers - ONLY EAD or USC or GCLocation: San Francisco, CADuration: 9 months+ ExtensionRequired Skills:• Java (ideally Java 8)• Kafka• Cassandra• Spring & Spring BootJob Summary• The developer will focus on backend development.• Experience with Cassandra, also know data modeling and Cassandra High Availability, Replication features.• Experience with Kafka.• Developers should ideally be able to write Ansible scripts.Cultural Environment• Very small company, no walls, everyone is open and communicates.• Someone that maintains open dialog with the team and resolves challenges quickly collaboratively and shares ideas to get the job done.• Culture fit will be a big player with potential candidates.Example of product application functionality:Example: Delta- you lost my bag, they respond in 3 min. Distributed data is written in Java and PHP. Very complex systems, must have distributed systems since there are lots of moving parts.
